4 WEEK BASIC – ADVANCED OBEDIENCE BOARD & TRAIN
Our 4-week board and train program is designed for dogs aged 10 weeks and above. We focus on basic – advanced obedience and work to address minor behavioral issues like jumping, mouthing, and leash pulling. This program is more intensive and produces a higher level of training consistency.
Dogs who participate in our board and train program will spend 24 hours a day in their trainer’s home this allows for the most comprehensive board and train program available. It allows your dog and trainer to bond and allows dogs to learn in real-world scenarios creating a broader range of training skills to be taught than with traditional kennel boarding programs.
Our 4-week program can be split into two stays each lasting 14 days. This allows younger puppies to continue to bond and learn with their families.
We use the Whole Dog approach and look at all areas of a dog’s life to assist with accomplishing training goals including; exercise, diet, temperament, breed, and background. We use only a balanced Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive (LIMA) training approach as recommended by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. This scienced-backed positive training always starts with the most rewarding approach. We do not use prong/pinch collars or shock collars/ecollars unless deemed absolutely necessary and when all other training methods have been exhausted.
