At Sit.Stay.Obey!, we adhere to the high standards set by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. Our commitment lies in employing the Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) dog training method. This means we prioritize your dog’s well-being and never resort to harsh tools such as shock/e-collars, prong collars, pinch collars, or slip collars, regardless of the issue. Instead, we rely on the proven effectiveness of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), a scientifically-backed approach, to teach new skills and correct unwanted behaviors.

Our training methods, which we've been developing for more than a decade, focus on ensuring your dog remains both calm and respectful. We tailor our training to the individual dog and the goals that the owner has for the dog. We do not utilize a one size fits all training approach.

Our lead trainer, R'Kenia Banks, employs a combination of diverse training methods and creativity to tailor sessions to your pet's individual needs.

CATERED LESSONS

Private dog training is a great way for you and your dog to become fluent in a system of communication. Our trainers can work on specific issues and correct or shape behavior that may be affecting your dogs potential for success. Kenia was absolutely wonderful with our timid girl who was having some guarding behaviors and just needed some help learning her only job is to love, and be loved. She is our pandemic baby and wasn’t well socialized.  We are in a small community, where majority of my neighbors are dog owners.  We needed to correct this behavior so that we could walk her without other neighbors being cautious of her. She was 1.5 years when we took her to Kenia.  We were comfortable with leaving her for a month (she needed longer training to get he comfortable with socializing with other people and dogs).  Indi, although apprehensive on the first visit, she quickly showed signs of trusting of Kenia. We discussed the training plan and Kenia reviewed how she intended to train her and get her more socialized. The training was effective, as Indi came back a more obedient, less timid, less anxious and did much better with new people and dogs. She will get a few more sessions to keep her focused but overall we are happy with her progress. We definitely recommend Sit Stay Obey and will use Kenia to watch Indi if we need to be away for extended time.

Unlicensed kennel wouldn't give me my dog back after 3 days held my dog for ransom and said I have to pay 3000 dollars even though the dog didn't get any training the training was supposed to be 30 days for 3000 dollars I offered to pay for the time they had my dog as long as they took the dog home they refused and after some conversation I realized they were not going to bring back my dog contacted connections with the state found out they were not licensed and could not even board or train dogs in the state of Georgia do not be fooled you have to be licensed in the state of Georgia under the Georgia agricultural society in order to board dogs I had no idea where my dog was being held where he was I tried reasoning with her to my dog back she started threatening to take my dog to the pound and drop him there and stuff like that at that point I had contacted a special enforcement agent with the state for animal and equine related matters and the police I was up until 4 in the morning with police trying to locate my dog which she had dropped of at some random persons house and told police she had no idea where my dog was I was in fear I would never see my dog again. Until we finally located him under the help of gwinnett police Sgt.Hollub and agent joey brooks I have my dog back now and if I could give negative stars i would! Their experience is a testament to how capable they are at training and teaching dogs who need that gentle push in the right direction. We loved that they used modern training ideology and incorporate a lot of enrichment and fun for the dogs that keep the safe and engaged. Sit.Stay.Obey! is extremely professional and knowledgeable. If there were any questions or concerns they were addressed promptly. Their pricing is very fair and lower than the competition in the area but that does not speak to their quality of service. We needed help with our 1 year old Italian Greyhound mix who had been previously trained by another trainer that caused more problems than we started with. Over his stay with the first trainer, our pup had become aggressive and fearful with strangers, would not play with other dogs, and we had no way to control him in our own home. With a baby on the way, we felt lost and didn’t know how to un-do the behaviors he had adopted. Once we started our sessions with R’Kenia, we felt way more in control. He was becoming more confident with each week. She helped us tremendously in our sessions, and gave us the tools to continue his training between sessions. He has learned how to better interact with strangers, and by our last session he was like a new dog! He has started to play with other dogs, stay calm around strangers, and he even has boundaries around the house now like staying out of the nursery that will be incredibly helpful and comforting when baby arrives! I’d highly recommend Sit.Stay.Obey to anyone who is looking for guidance with their dog! It was like sending my child to boarding school. We left our 1 year Rottweiler puppy with her for a week while on vacation and we came back to a BRAND NEW dog! Before we left she jumped all over us, ran around the house, pulled when being walked, and did not listen to any commands. With Sit.Stay.Obey  Ziva is now able to stay indoors instead of the backyard and garage and walking her is a lot more enjoyable!

My dog's barking, chewing and poop he left in the house was driving me crazy and did not see this dog lasting in my life.
